FAQ

I'm here to give you clear, straightforward answers about my priorities, values, and approach to leadership. These questions address the issues people ask most. If you don’t see your question here, please reach out!

Why are you running for House District 68?

Giving back is a big part of who I am. I love taking care of my community and doing my part to make everyday a little better for those around me. I am a life-long Campbell County resident. I love living here and calling this place home. I am running for House District 68 to improve the quality of life for our residents. I am committed to working collaboratively to reduce our cost of living, expand access to healthcare, working to get our youngest Kentuckians universal preschool, and ensure competitive pay for our teachers, law enforcement officers, and essential service workers, all while keeping our budget in check. I believe that by working together, we can make life more affordable and secure for Kentucky families.

Who do you represent as a candidate?

I represent the people of our community first and always. I’m running as a Democrat, but my focus isn’t on party labels—it’s on collaboration, common sense, and getting things done for the people who actually live and work here. I’m running for the middle 80%- the families, workers, small business owners, kids, seniors, and individuals that make up our community.

I believe we have far more in common than the national headlines suggest. Most people want safe communities, good schools, affordable healthcare, and an economy that works for everyone-not just a select few. I’m committed to building alliances across parties, listening with respect, and representing shared values that bring us together, because progress happens when we work together.

How will your small business experience benefit our community?

My experience running a small business gives me a firsthand understanding of the challenges that families and local businesses face every day. I know what it takes to balance budgets, create jobs, and navigate regulations while balancing needs. I'll bring practical, real-world solutions to our community- supporting workers, helping small businesses thrive, and making Campbell County a place where families can succeed with roots in strong fiscal responsibility. I believe that leadership rooted in everyday experience leads to policies that actually work for the people they’re meant to serve.

How will you help rural voters?

Simply: by listening to my rural friends and neighbors. I have already heard, first hand, that many rural families feel forgotten. US 27 is facing a massive infrastructure crisis with heavy traffic from new businesses and new subdivisions. I believe that rural families need our support now more than ever and I will continue to listen and support our rural friends throughout my leadership.
